We were so thrilled to get away from it all... even the c.o.m.p.u.t.e.r (gasp). It was just what we needed to rejuvenate our spirits. And the fellowship was stellar as well.
And got to meet amazing Singer and Twins Mama, Natalie Grant! What a precious Mom and lady. Loved visiting with her. From the second we met, it was like we were at Starbucks having coffee together, except there was a line of many ladies wanting to have coffee with her. :)
Things I Loved About Women of Faith Imagine, Charlotte, NC:
1)
My company, Jen. It was great to have a wonderful friend and sister of faith with me. Sweet time of fellowship and encouragement. Our sweet friend,
Lisa of Mommyality surprised us and picked us up and off we went to Central Coffee and awesome breakfast before the Saturday session. Girlfriends!
We got to meet In-Real-Life,
Beth Sports Momma from South Carolina. Such a sweetie and a Women of Faith expert.
2) The Locale. Love my Charlotte! We loved getting to know Uptown Charlotte! The Aloft Hotel EpiCenter. This is a trendy and fun area with lots to do and enjoy.
3) The format. LOVED the Women of Faith "the Porch" format. This is so warm and friendly and very supportive of each speaker. You could feel the team spirit and it felt very electrifying to have all that energy of each speaker and singer in the room the entire conference.
4) Meeting Natalie Grant. Amazing, Twins Mom and Singer. This photo and autograph opportunity as awesome and unexpected. There were opportunities to meet several speakers and singers during the conference. Love their availability and kind hearts.
5) Seeing sweet Gail Hyatt again! And meeting Mary Graham! Great forces behind WofFaith.
"I got to see wonderful Gail Hyatt again! Love her! And met Mary Graham! What a sweet lady. Here she is a CEO, leader and major part of the conference and when we met, and hugged and I asked for pictures with her and Gail and Jen, the girl who took our picture said, "Your battery is low. Well, Mary Graham said, Oh, her charge up with mine and she gave me her iPhone charge to use during lunch hour."
6) Partnership with World Vision. Helping Children around the world equals perfect. Luci Swindoll's testimony of supporting children was priceless.
7) The messages! Loved the recap at the end: Karen Kingsbury - Journal, Write, Get it all down - your story, your family story, history; Natalie Grant - You are God's Princess! You are Beautiful! Nicole Johnson - "Where does it hurt?" He heals and loves you. Shelia Walsh - The Shepherd will help you find the way. Your Shepherd loves and cares for you. He KNOWS where you are. Loved meeting Shelia Walsh, and Nicole Johnson! I got to see wonderful Gail Hyatt again! Love her!
8) The Videos by Women of Faith. This detail was fun, whimsical and entertaining. These were hilarious and creative! Something different to really mix it up. Kudos creative department. :)
9) The simple lunch. The boxed lunch. Simple, tasty, available and there early for lunch at session!
10) The Spirit of the Lord in this place!
