That's Right, Paula Deen, Spring Is Here and UNC Tar Heels No. 1

That's Right, Paula Deen's Memoir "It Ain't All About the Cooking" is gaining ground everywhere. Should we have doubted! The Queen of Carolina Cooking is sharing her world even more. Stay tuned for how she does it with her "Courage Chili" and more.

"It Ain't All About the Cooking"

That's Right, UNC No. 1

UNC Tar Heels No. 1

We're a Carolina Spring and UNC and Duke are keeping March Madness spirits h.i.g.h. That's right, UNC was voted No.1 by the Coaches Poll - check out the UNC article above.

It's been a stellar weel, snow in March and then Mr. Weather took us to 80 degrees and back to a perfect 62 right now.

As our Duke friends say, Let's see about that NCAA. It's always exciting to have top teams heading to the NCAA during March Madness.

Tomorrow I have the most amazing "Win It Wednesday" Giveaway! I am bursting to tell. So resister early and often because there is more than one way to enter this fun.

Other than that, we're living and loving life - Spring brings life. What's Spring doing for you?

Warmly,

We had all of one day of "spring" so far - it was 60, but overcast, on Saturday. Since then it's been back to the 30s and 40s...sigh. Just you wait, when you're broiling in the 100 degree summer heat, I'll be laughing when it's only 95 here, heh heh! :-P

YAY for March Madness! The Tournament should be good -- the ACC has been incredible this year.

Hopefully Lawson will be playing this weekend.

Enjoy this beautiful weather before the rain and chilly comes back.

Spring/Summer was here and then left. Our temps were in the 80's and 90's a week ago. Today it is raining and in the 40's! Glad for the rain because we need it badly. No rain here in 19 months! Now the cold temps, those can go away. My iris are blooming and before today, the air felt like Spring. That always puts a pep in my step. I look forward to baseball, green grass and the warm sun on my face.
