There is a lot of talk and excitement about this year's
Ski and Snowboard Season in the Rockies!
In fact, a really cool group Snow Mamas is putting together an awesome
group of ski and snowboarders - the Snow Mamas and Snow Papas
of the beautiful, and snow covered, Park City Mountain, Park City, Utah
With Winter upon us and as you gear up, what's a Snow Mama to wear! Check out our ideas:
1) Go with performance;
Let's face it in the Rockies you can have some amazing weather and you can have some extreme weather; so go or a good performance brand for your outerwear. Here we've chosen North Face.
2) Go with a classic. This classic BibAll is never going out of style and you can dress it up a bit with a fur collar jacket or wear plain.
Helly Hansen Outdoor Ski Apparel! You can get a stylish look with the performance you need on the slopes! And a little girl power with this color pop: Pink!
3) Shop Outlets like REI and Lands' End Clearance for mega deals on basics and gear like gloves and layers.
Lastly, Have fun! That's right, drink a ton of water before, during and after to help you acclimate to the altitudes and enjoy your time!
What are your favorite Outerwear Tips for Skiing and Snowboarding?

Tips for skiing: The bibs are harder when you need to use the restroom. I like jackets that allow you to nip in the waist...more feminine and stylish. Make sure you wear ski socks and resist the urge to double layer socks. Carry a small camera with you for great pictures. Ski the slopes within your skill level. Stop before you get overly tired.
Melanie, I so agree - the jackets I posted go great OVER the bibs :) and you still get the girly look! Although, the restroom is so much easier without those bibs. Love the stop before you get overly tired. When I was a beginner skiier, I have several memories of skiing down a huge mountain so ready to be at the end of my day! :)
