I would love these for my girls. One is going into 6th grade and the other is going into 1st. They love 'working' during the summer so that they don't loose skills.

My 6 yr old niece is going into first grade. She is a very bright child but she needs to have something to do all the time. It wears me out sometimes. This would be perfect for when her mother, father or others are unable to keep her busy.

Just catching up on your blogs. I also am in love with the Land's End backpacks. My older boys use the regular classmates size. They can hold a three inch binder and books, a DS, and iPod with room to spare. My twins are getting the small hauls this year for their 1 and 1/2 inch binders they have to carry to Kindergarten. With the discount I was able to get them lunch sacks practically for free, and got free shipping on top of all of that. Also they will replace a torn backpack (didn't happen to us, but a friend) with no questions asked.

Oh wow... My oldest loves to work in work books. We bought a few from Walmart, geared towards 1st Grade, when we took her out of public school in March. Just yesterday, she was working through the last of one of the books. She would love it if we won these!

I don't have any little kiddos, but my sweet grandbabies would LOVE this! My oldest daughter homeschools and this would be great to fill in that gap!

No time like the present to begin preparing my little one for these books. Even though I wouldn't use them for a few years, it's such a great idea!

Also...I LOVE Land's End! I have a backpack that I used in college and it is still in perfect condition!
