Hanes Fall Fashion for Men, Women and Teens #FallFashion #HanesComfort

Hanes Fall Fashion is casual, handsome and stylish. Here are my guys on our recent trip to Asheville. These are perfect for Fall Fashion. The weather was turning cool in the mountains. The Hanes Men's Sweatshirt Hoodies were wonderful layering pieces.  As it gets cooler, the accompanying sweat pants will go well for casual events. Of course, jeans and Khakis will work well together.

Men's Fall Fashion:
These Men's SweatShirt Hoodies are Purple, Deep Forest and Denim Blue.  Notice the Classic Men's Socks Crew White my husband is wearing. These are great all the time.

We were all relaxing and enjoying the Hot Air Balloons over the valley in Asheville. So beautiful!

Classic / Basic Crew Tee Shirts White Men's. Yes, this is not only a Fall Fashion Tip, this is a Women's Secret... I LOVE the Hanes Basic Men's Crew Tee Shirts!  Seriously, they are awesome and feel great. Look, won't you agree, they look terrific, too. I love the men's tee for a longer tee shirt. This is great for layering. I adore the NEW Men's Crew Tee Shirt in Slim Fit© because it is just slim enough to fit better and have the length I need. So, winning! Also, the sleeves are not too short and sticking out. So, the slim fitted tee can be worn by itself and be just as stylish.

Women's Fall Fashion: My Women's Signature Wrap in Gray is worn over the tee as a perfect long cardigan. I feel so confident and comfortable while being stylish in this Fall item. The cotton is super soft and moves with me. The long sleeves add just enough for the warmish, cool Fall days. I think every woman needs one or three of these.

The Signature Wrap looks so elegant here. It is very feminine and makes the outfit. I love the Signature Wrap! It goes with so much and it is soft and comfortable for Fall. Perfect Fall Fashion!

Here I styled it with a dark gray shirt and a fun headband with black leggings and boots. I was ready to go from day to dinner. :)  You can mix up the top and jewelry to make and elegant dinner.

Teens Fall Fashion for Him:  Another glimpse at this awesome Hanes Hoodie Sweatshirt. These are great for every one. Our boys love the Men's Hoodies - here one of the boys is enjoying the Deep Green at dinner alfresco in Asheville. It was ideal. The deep green looked so handsome on my teenage son during our al fresco dinner! And he was warm enough for the Asheville evening.

My husband and teen sons have a personal favorite and it is .... the Men's Lounge Shorts

Hanes Men's Jersey Lounge Pant ©

and the Men's Pajama lounge.  Hurry and buy when you see them because here they tend to run out quickly. They were all so thrilled to get stocked up on these favorites.

A Little Something Extra:

Women's Bandini Convertible - Black/White These are some of the most versatile items Hanes has for women. I love wearing these on my morning walks. Or, layered for the gym. They are easy to wash, dry simply. They keep their shape and form for a LONG time. You can wear are them strapless, one strap, both straps and as a bandeau. This is a super score in women's clothing.

One of my favorite ways to wear the Bandini is as a bandeau OVER my usual undergarment so I do not have to worry about all of the low cut items on the market. This works so well and looks like part of my outfit most of the time. Worry free dressing! :)

Hanes Undercover Color #undercovercolor

Hanes, Hanes, Hanes!  I LOVE my Hanes.  And this latest fun #UnderCoverColor Campaign totally has me happy.

Hanes sent me a lovely little care package of the Hanes UndercoverColor  goodness going on now.  Besides my loving all things Hanes, I really love the latest of the Comfort Flex Bras and the UndercoverColor  undies.  And I fell for the soft, colorful, Live. Love, Color Tee Shirts.  Mine was a fabulous Citrus Lemon Lime.

As for Undies, is it any surprise my #undercovercolor is Pink! :)  I love this feminine, girly and beautiful color.  Hanes keeps it fun.

Yes, I tweeted it.  You know the Hanes Comfort Crew rolls like that.

And since I "live" in the Hanes Bandinis, I am thrilled to try out the latest Bandinis including the latest one with a little extra support.  This one looked just as fabulous as the original.

Love my Hanes Comfort Undercovercolor Bandinis and Undies

The Hanes UndercoverColor  Bandidi is great for:

1) Every day work out - Pilates, Walking, Weight Training, Yoga and I have doubled the Bandinis for a job in the past;

2) These are great for Nursing Moms, they are the perfect support for during the night;

3) These are awesome for racer back outfits and narrower (around the shoulders) tops; No straps gapping out;

4) they can be worn STRAPLESS!  Hallejuiah.  This is one of my favorite wears of the Bandini. I love this layer for strapless sundresses and halter tops. WIN! and

5) And these are fabulous Camisoles. Seriously, why wear a full camisole in the Summer when you are avoiding the deep "V" dip in your dress, the Bandini covers you just right and looks so natural.

Thank you Hanes for a perfect Bandini and the colors are too fun!

Again, the Live, Love, Color Tees are SO SOFT and they move with you for active wear. Love it!  Thanks Hanes!  We love you, too!

My Hanes Undies are super soft, colorful and fun.  They also keep their shape which is extra fabulous.

Hanes Comfort forever, undercover, of course.

Warmly,  Carolina Mama

Carolina Mama Review 2011

As each New Year commences, I look forward with eager anticipation. A childlike wonder at what the year will hold. I set goals, yes, the old resolution type with a healthy dose of old-fashion resolve.

Chicago Summer 2011

There are usually a couple of things on the calendar. The routines and schedule will soon begin and then the fun of filling out the year - living. The expected and the unexpected. This year, my blog brought many amazing opportunities to work with incredible brands that represent America and family. I'm honored.

And the unpredictable. As a believer, the Christian life leads me to renew my faith and trust in the Lord of my life and His knowing the best plan for me regardless of the joy or pain it may bring. Sometimes it is not an easy road. Other times, it is a full year and life of activity. That was our 2011.

This I'll say with complete dependence on Christ our Savior, that I have no idea what is in store for us in 2012. And I do know God loves us the same this year as the years before and after. I know that he will see us through whatever circumstance comes our way:

"For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

May we trust Him, love Him, serve Him and praise Him the same regardless. Only He can give us the grace to do that.

Looking back on 2011, we were blessed indeed to spend great family time, grow the Carolina Mama writing and travel side of my blog, and see some awesome places in the process. And it was truly a wonderful year in the life of our family, Carolina Mama, travels and family time.

As I reflect on 2011, I am thankful for the amazing opportunities to work with so many outstanding brands. I have been honored to join the Hanes Comfort Crew this year and share, learn and grow this awesome "Crew!" I am psyched to continue as a Rayovac Power Blogger and champion along with this incredible and durable Brand that 'lasts longer' - really!  We get to test it and prove it.  Joining the eBay Parent Panel was a perfect match for me because I have always turned to eBay as a Buyer and a Seller.

These trusted family and consumer brands have welcomed each of us like family as we have shared their brands with you and lived life with their products.

For, oh, the amazing places we have gone and our awesome family time together. Here we go.  Looking forward to 2012 being the Best Year Ever!

* Our 2011 Review *

January kicked off the year with an awesome time at Blissdom in Nashville, Tennessee. This was my first Blissdom Conference, and I loved it and got to see familiar faces and meet folks I had only met online prior.  And meet great brands and learn a lot.  Then I flew to Charlotte and met my family there where we launched an amazing new product Eat.Think.Smile with fabulous Moms there.  Awesome, healthy chocolate.  Life is good!

February Ocean Isle Inn, North Carolina hosted our NC Mom Bloggers Conference. This was an awesome time of learning, community and a great little fun on the beach.

March - Again my heart was moved and inspired by Sally Clarkson of Mom Heart Conference in Raleigh, NC as a Retreat on Moms, Family and Home.  Then the  North Carolina Tourism Event invited Jen with One Mom's World and our children. Loved discovering and connecting with these phenomenal North Carolina families and learning about lot of NC family fun.

April  My family was honored to join the Hanes Comfort Crew to Disney;  what an incredible time of relationship and comfort in the middle of Disney with a brand that is all about people and comfort; this was truly memories of a life time for us.   We were invited to the Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral, FL to have Lunch with an Astronaut and this was moving to see our boys dream of walking on the moon.

May Visit Kissimmee hosted us for the second year as we discovered the Wonders of Florida in Osecola County.  We love it there.  Then it was home to the Southern
Carolina Inn, Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for a weekend rich in Southern culture, history and cuisine!  This included the famous High Tea even with the Tigers.  We're all hooked, now.

May also took us to The Cove, Asheville, NC.  My husband and I loved our "get away" and what a refreshing time spiritually and physically.  We heard from heaven.   And we got to hear and meet the fabulous Shaun Groves!  Too fun!  And what a message he shares.

We culminated our May and Spring with a family vacation to the High Hampton Inn, Cashiers, NC - Truly an Inn to Remember.  Life is different there.

We connected as a family and with the outdoors and life in such a beautiful way here.  The European French daily feasts and Fly Fishing helped! :)  Or was it the ice cold Water Fall, Tennis, Swimming in the Lake....

June - I was so privileged to visit Minneapolis, Minnesota with General Mills for Box Tops University!  What a delight!  We have clipped and saved all these years and GM showed us all the good Box Tops for Education is doing for our schools and ultimately our children.  I was moved to participate.

For the 2nd year, I got to lead a Race for the Cure - Susan G. Komen Team of Carolina Bloggers and Friends sponsored by Hanes Comfort.  We had a great team and were able to dedicate our race to our own NC Mom Blogger, Chele Chestnut who was battling cancer.  This moved us all to tears especially when Chele crossed that finish line for the first time.  This is what life is.  This is why I blog.

July - At home in NC - the July 4th Parade, a Family Wedding turned into a mini reunion.  Home in the Summer is beautiful.

August - August took us to Chicago, Illinois ... to see family.   Lots of family and our 5 day old Great Niece!  And precious 9 month old Great Nephew!   We loved the Sears Tower, the Tigers were brave for the Sky Deck!  We are the Heartland - Our Family Reunion ages ranged from 5 days to 77 years, 4 generations.  Priceless.

Then it was an early Field Trip for the Homeschool:  What a quintessential field trip of all time - The Creation Museum, Cincinnati,OH/Lebron, KY.  This is a believers - Creationist's - delight!

September -  It was a thrill to be invited to join the eBay Parent Panel and commence in Orlando, Florida with the eBay OnLocation; what a fun group on the eBay Parent Panel;  We wrapped the Summer with Boogie- Boarding on Wrightsville Beach, NC; we're in our element at the beach. I actually got to read and sip my Starbucks this year.

A couple of weeks later Thomas Nelson invited me to join the ever-so-popular Women of Faith Conference, Charlotte, NC;  I was blessed and renewed in a mighty way that weekend.  And my friend Jen shared it with me.  Moms need that sometimes.

October -  We were truly blessed with when Colorado Grandparents came to Carolina to visit; a beautiful family time.  We LOVED just spending time together.  And weft in a little NC family time Camping at the Lake - you know, light saber duals from the back yard to lake side.  And Tiger A and I couldn't take the cold, so we turned it into a car camp. Worked for us = a little bit of sleep. :)

November - A Carolina Thanksgiving and Christmas Musical - home; I'm so very proud of Boulder Mountain Man and the Tigers for their hard work on our musical.  I was teary-eyed at their diligence.

December - For the 2nd year, we celebrated A Carolina Christmas, Charlotte, NC; this was magical. The lovely and FUN Great Wolf Lodge, NC, hosted us and we indulged in Snowland the entire time we were there.  And one can never tire of the Howling Tornado!

Then it was a surprise to the  NASCAR Hall of Fame for the Tigers, this after banking on the Charlotte Motor Speedway to see the Christmas lights the night before - this included seeing the largest outdoor Drive In!  How fun to see Polar Express in this manner.

Great Wolf Lodge Christmas 2011

It was a blessed year y'all and we look forward to the blessings and lessons of 2012!  Happy New Year to you and Thank You all for doing life with us here at Carolina Mama.

Beautiful year, thankful girl!

Cheers and God Bless!

Warmly, Carolina Mama

Hanes Clean Out Your Drawers

Does this look familiar?! Last Summer in NYC Hanes and me! And Michael Maloney!

Rolling 2011, and I am excited to share this article with you: "Hanes Chooses Members of the 2011 Comfort Crew" and I am honored that Hanes invited me to join the Crew! I am privileged to represent right here in North Carolina. Hanes hales from my Mom's hometown!

So expect to see news and information regarding Hanes right here. And if you have questions or need Hanes scoop, please let me know, I'd love to help in any way. Now, on to...

National Hanes Clean Out Your Drawers! Hanes knows how to keep it fun and just like we 'cleaned out our drawers' this Summer, you get to do the same.

Hanes has teamed up with TV star, author and new mom, Bethenny Frankel, and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s resident interior designer, Michael Moloney, to encourage America to Clean Out Their Drawers and rid yourself of the ragged, the worn, the ridiculously uncomfortable and the out of style. Michael and Bethenny have created tips on how to streamline the process and replenish with the right items.

Research shows that nearly everyone hoards underwear and socks. In fact, people rarely clean out their drawers and only actually wear about 70 percent of the items they own. Spring cleaning season is the perfect time to think about a yearly effort to clear out the clutter. You’ll be amazed at how good you feel afterward!

Check out these great tips below to help you get started:

Bethenny Says…

  • It is as easy as 1, 2, 3: Cleaning out your drawers doesn’t have to be stressful. Just make three piles: toss, keep, and donate!
  • If you have not worn it in a year, you probably never will. If you have bras and underwear that are hanging on by the last threads, it is time to let them go. Let me give you a hint, when the wires are popping out everywhere and it hasn’t fit in three years, it’s time to put it out of its misery, and yours.
  • Mornings made easier. Does your morning routine consist of digging through piles of underwear in search of a “decent pair”? If you’re nodding your head yes right now, it sounds like you need to clean out your drawers. The first step of getting organized is simply knowing what you have!
  • You have to see it to wear it. Make sure you can see everything in the drawer. There’s no use keeping it, if it’s buried way in the back. If your drawers are looking bare when you’re done, it’s time to go shopping! Replace those old clothes with brand new Hanes, the comfiest innerwear and socks around.
  • Donate, donate, donate! Think about all of the items you bought and never wore. Give them to reputable organizations like Goodwill® to help to fund their job training programs that help millions of Americans find jobs each year.

Michael Says…

  • It is as easy as 1, 2, 3: Cleaning out your drawers doesn’t have to be stressful. Just rummage through your drawers, then reduce, reuse and repurpose!
  • You’ve gotta start somewhere. Taking control of your drawers is a great place to start when launching an organizational overhaul of your life. Cleaning out your drawers will actually save you from those stressful situations like frantically piling clothes into the closet when an unexpected visitor drops by.
  • Make it a habit. You can do this one of two ways: either purge as you go (bra made you miserable all day? Don’t put it back in the drawer!), or designate a time each year to go through your drawers and closets. Spring cleaning is a perfect opportunity to tackle this project.
  • Fight the fear. Women in particular tend to hold onto underwear, bras and socks that they don’t wear because they’re afraid that they’ll have nothing to wear one day (like on laundry day!). Make a list of what you’ve purged and replace it with new items that accomplish the same objective, but fit you infinitely better.
  • Make it count. Why not get rid of all of those extra items that are taking up space? No one wants to throw away perfectly good clothing, so donate your gently used clothing items to Goodwill. That way you’ll get organized and help someone else in need.
**Follow along on Hanes' Facebook for more fun and information! Are you a Hanes FB Fan?! Yes, I have been for some time. Are you 1 in a Million? Join the Hanes FB fun!

Now, go Clean Out Your Drawers!

Warmly, Carolina Mama

My Hanes Comfort and BlogHer 2010 NYC

Thank you Hanes for an amazing afternoon in NYC!

BlogHer 2010 was fabulous to me! New York City! All the Moms, Friends and the Brands! It was rewarding to meet many companies and their PR Represenatatives that I had worked with prior.

Hanes was one of those companies! As you know, I love Hanes. Hanes Comfort is a North Carolina company. So we not only are comfortable and adore them. We like them and enjoy working with them.

Only one small thing, a lot of the great Hanes Comfort Crew live closer to New York City than North Carolina! To say I was thrilled to be invited to their Afternoon of Comfort is a total understatement. It was what I couldn't wait to do. And lucky me, the Hanes event was the first event I attended in New York City for BlogHer.

Literally, it was from john F. Kennedy Airport to drop our luggage to go to the Hanes party! So No Not Me Monday! we did not just go to the Hanes event without even getting to get our fashion on! No Not Me Monday! I didn't miss my Southern girl dress up and have to rush straight to a party without my party dress and contacts! Here you have it raw - looking like the Traveling Mama that I am at the chic event! I wouldn't have missed it for the world. It's a love love relationship with Hanes and me - so here we all are.

Here is a glimpse of what our party looked like in NYC!

I loved meeting the amazing Michael Maloney of Extreme MakeOver! He was so cool and helpful! I organize a lot of things yet I learned new tips from Michael like the new Hanes undies! And Hanes had us custom fit while we were there! Heaven! And the prices of the new Hanes flex-fit bras are so inexpensive. We even got professionally fitted to make sure we had the right size.

Back to Michael Maloney, I loved getting to Organize with him. And I even won the $100 MomBlogger Organization Contest/Game! Really! That was fun! What mother of twin boys couldn't easily use $100 on socks, tees and such for her active growing sons. Or an extra flex fit! :) Just saying I loved them that much.

Thanks Hanes! You're the best! Rumor has it Hanes is having a Giveaway for Fall right her on CarolinaMama! Get ready! Are you a Hanes fan? Does everyone in your family wear Hanes? Hands down, we're a Hanes Family!

Warmly, Carolina Mama

Disney With The Hanes Comfort Crew

One of the first things we did at Disney World was get invited to Downtown Disney for the Hanes Comfort Crew TweetUp! I was so happy for the invite from the North Carolina Company! Carolina Mama is all about Carolina! So I was thrilled to take my family right along with me for the Tweet Up.

We met at Downtown Disney's Create A Tee Shirt Design Hanes Shop! The new shop has every imaginable option to design your own tee.

When we walked in the door, I was mesmerized with all of the primary colors and then ... take a double take - that is Chris Brogan, author, social media expert and speaker at the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration Conference! Yes, I was thrilled to meet him first thing and before the conference officially began. He was very personable. And as I got to know him throughout the weekend and particularly in his talk, Chris Brogan is funny! Informative and funny made for a great afternoon!

There were other mom bloggers there. Some I knew and some I had been waiting to meet like Classy Mommy and A Cowboy's Wife. It was fun to have a little tweetup social early morning. And the Tigers were on the computers provided designing tees all the while!

Here is my family with North Carolina's One Mom's World and her family. We had a grand time.

Hanes is working with mom bloggers to reach families. As a North Carolina family and Hanes fan, we loved getting to be a part of this Disney TweetUp. And to work more closely with a great North Carolina company.
