Chocolate Chip Brownie Dynamite

Chocolate Chip Brownie Dynamite

Oh my goodness! These amaze! And this is what Carolina Mama does when her MacBook is in the Apple shop.... ;)

Please stick with us while Mr. Mac Book is "under construction." We are enjoying the last of summer. Lots of swimming, tennis, baking, biking, etc.

What are you doing?!

Warmly,

Carolina Mama

Real Summer Daz and More 'Not me!'

Spending my Summer daz with two Tigers...

It's a full, fun adventursome and busy time. It is busy here. One Tiger is on the way to basketball camp and the other and I get to go to Barnes and Noble and for some running and rowing. You know, my "usual activities" - pun intended. :) My summer schedule just may be posting in the afternoons. Talk soon and in the words of our friend Tigger... "TTFN - Ta Ta For Now!"

Keeping it real. What does your schedule look like? :)

Not Me! I did not just let the Tigers eat Popsicles along with their chopped Apples. Not me!

And I did not just take a photo of my cute son calling his brother just minutes after we dropped him at his individual time basketball camp - while I was driving! No, Not Me! Because I did not want to miss this moment. [Fortunately, we were safe on the rode and no more pictures while driving.]

What have you "Not me!" done! All the Best!

Carolina Summertime From A Chauffeur

Hello World that exists outside of Mama's Chauffeur Service. It's full swing Summertime here. And while the Tigers are at the amazing RDU Tennis Camp, Carolina Mama's been seen on Franklin Street. And here are some of the sites I'm seeing here. Just when UNC Baseball is on the way to Omaha with their outstanding Outfield Trio!

And Starbucks keeps us loving them with the latest Bob Dylan...

Carolina Mama chauffeur is off to the Tennis Courts. The Tigers are loving their Tennis and are keeping me busy. Isn't this what summer's about. Next up, the pool.

How are you spending your first days of Summer? All the best.

Never Bored? Dr. Z and Me

It's my Birthday Week so how exciting was this to arrive on my front porch so beautifully wrapped....

And to have the message "Bust Summer Boredom!" right there waiting for me....

It always shocked me when another Mom would ask me if I ever get" bored being a full-time Mom" - really it never occurred to me. My girlfriend and I have a joke, "Never boared, terrified but never bored!"

So true. With active boys and her active girls, we're never bored maybe terrified. :) Nonetheless, Summer is coming and so is the heat. It was a treat and refreshing to open this pretty package from our friends at the Primrose Schools!

Even non-bored, happy-at-home, active Moms could use refreshing ideas for Summer fun that are frugal. Just check it out. Dr. Z and Me is a new creation of the lovely and excellent friends at the Primrose Schools. Awesome ideas! Remember our MommyBlogger Mixer at Primrose?

They have awesome ideas for Summer Fun too. And with the economy still rebounding back, it is awesome to have wholesome and fun reminders for everyone. Here you see from Dr. Z's site the team at work in the Boredom Bucket!

Honestly, we're full speed ahead into Summer with our Beach LiveBlogging Ocean Isle Beach trip, Birthday Week :) Father's Day, Tennis Camp, etc. You get the idea. And as summer ebbs and flows, we'll surely pull out the Best of Summer Ideas from Dr. Z and enjoy the Scrap booking ideas, and Cookbook Fun, Art Treasure Chest.

With all the heat, we'll look forward to a reprieve from the pool and a little summer children's activities fun. So check them out and see what you like best. And for more ideas on Summer Fun go to "Works For Me Wednesday!"

And most of all Enjoy your Summer and your Children! It's a wonderful time of year. What are some of your favorite ideas? Please share because we can all use a little extra fun.

"One Day At the Beach, Is Worth A Month in Town"

From Summer Days
"Why, one day in the country,
Is worth a month in town...days drone elsewhere."
Christina Rossetti 1830-1894

Honestly, it's the truth! Ya'll know I gave it a Carolina twist. Yet the truth remains all these years later.
