Krispy Kreme
At the Krispy Kreme Bloggers Summit 2013, we learned their mission and commitment. We found this to be 100% true. Day two of the Summit in Winston-Salem, North Carolina was wonderful. After the warmest of Southern Welcomes on Day one including Old Salem, we got to spend our time completely at the Krispy Kreme Headquarters on Day two. There was a whole lot of goodness going on.
We began our day at the exquisite and historical Graylyn Estate and International Conference Center where we woke up feeling like we were all Princesses in Disney. We were in a Castle. Our breakfast was made to order, I had a perfect omelet. And we all sat on the Sunroom porch overlooking the forest and a bit of the golf course.
What better way to continue our day than with a Krispy Kreme Coffee and Donut Tasting and Pairing. This was so educational for all of us. It was super tasty. I LOVED the Dark Roast Coffee. It was full-bodied and flavorful. The Krispy Kreme Team shared about the stores all around the world. We had a delightful lunch from Old Salem Cafe and then it was on to Chocolate University and Decorating Donuts!
We're just home from the fun and we have a snowfall, so I will leave you with this glimpse of the day.
There will be more to come about my experience. And we have answers from the Chefs. How did you like the video?
Warmly, Carolina Mama
