Today, I want to share my Mother's Day message by telling you Why My Mom Is The Best Mom!  Many of you know that my precious Mom passed away just three years ago she was blessed to spend right at 80 years here. We are so thankful for her and the legacy she has left us.

My Mom is the Best because taught me service and commitment to family! For my Mom, Family was always, always and always first! She had so many talents and was a beautiful lady. Many called my parents the Camelot couple. A little before my time, yet it is a major complement from another iconic couple the President John F. and Jackie Kennedy. Like Jackie Kennedy, my mother was beautiful, classic and fashionable. She loved family and people. And she unexpectedly lost her husband in the prime of his life. She left a lifetime of love, learning and laughter for us! 

My Mother and her Twin Grandsons. They are two of her eight grandchildren.
They are 8 boys / 1 girl! :) 

She served our community well in our local Pops Symphony, our Church, Planning Committees, Gardening Clubs, etc. Many more and yet she kept our family at the forefront. She taught us love and commitment through her tenacity, hard work and great love! 

I am forever grateful. I've made this video to share with you in a more candid was just what she means to me.

Fashion Friday and Saturday: Lands' End Fine Gauge Supima Cardigan

We're in the full swing of the Beginning of Summer. And I'm 

already mixing and matching outfits for the best look for 

these warm days and nights. 

Here is a favorite:  Classic Maxi, with a Cardi with punch, 

Pearls and Taupe Bag and Shoes pull it together nicely. 

You could wear this to the Symphony.  You know I love that. 

For a more Casual Glam look, take a simple Sundress in a solid color, that's the 

key here, it's hard to mix and match a bold print without noticing everyday! lol 

Stripes give it a pop and the solids work.  The red, white and blue is 

early for the July 4th look. These looks could take you from the 

picnic to the fireworks afterwards.  The only thing....

... I'd add a cardigan because this Southern Girl loves a wrap.  

It gets a little cool when a breeze decides to join the 90 degree temps.

Best Family Swimsuits: Lands' End Family Swimsuit Review

We're in the heart of Summertime.  After just cruising past a beautiful 4th of July, we have many full days at the pool, sunsets at the beach mix in a few Lake swims left for the season.  Having great swim gear makes it all more fun and beautiful!

Earlier this Season, Lands' End had a party for us.  It was fun to participate in the National Lands' End Swimsuit Confidence Campaign.  Did you see all the amazing suits and the awesome ladies sporting them?  And there was one good looking guy that stole the male @BoulderMtMan show on Swimsuit Confidence.  I have it on good information. :)

We're back this year for the third year with our very own North Carolina Family Lands' End Swimsuit Review!  We took it from the lovely beaches to the NC Mountains and it is glorious.  This photo shoot was done at High Hampton Inn, Cashiers, North Carolina an amazing destination for families, reunions and gatherings.

The Tigers chose their suits.  I thought I was going to order a floral again... Okay y'all! We're talking Fashion! Friday Fashion Find! I know, can you believe after all that coaxing from sweet friends - I'm doing it! And I have to say ode to my fashion roots - Banana Republic, Kate Spade and Estee′ Lauder! It feels great to talk fashion again!

After all, stay-at-home-mom, Twins Mom talking Fashion - it's a good thing! So you have mentioned it and asked and yes you are right, I'm talking a lot about Fashion and Fitness. It's what we do! And I love that you do too and we're sharing that together.

Best Swimsuits 2010: Lands' End Family Review

Here is my Best Swimsuit Review 2010! Really!

Lands' End hands down has the Best Swimsuits for your Family! We love Lands' End and have for a very long time i.e. before I had a blogging/sponsor relationship with them.

Here one of the Tigers is competing in the Beach Hula Hoop Contest! After much coaxing he agreed and is even smiling about it! He won the Relay Race! :) Back to the cute swim gear!

Here for Big Boys are the awesome and long Swim Trunks! And the matching and protective Rash Guards! This combination saves my Tigers' skin! And they look cool while they are at it!



How awesome does Boulder Mountain Man look! Love it! He loves the generous length on the men's trunks. And he is crazy for these long-sleeved Rash Guards. They look so good and protect to the maximum!



Next meet One Mom's World - Jen and me! We all got to spend time on the beach together this weekend and Jen and I loved our Lands' End Swimsuits. We both chose different suits and we both loved our different styles and colors and that they are both classic suits.

ACTIVATE Concert Ocean Isle Inn Activate with Miss Lori

It have been an incredible weekend here at Ocean Isle Inn!

Today was the Miss Lori ACTIVATE Concert for Kids right beachside here at OII by the pool. So Poolside as well! That is the nice thing about OII is that they are beachside and poolside all in one!

We have been really activating Saturday at Ocean Isle Inn. The whole family has been on the go since about 9 am. We are so excited to be here at Ocean Isle Beach. It is amazing that even during the summer peak, it has such a laid back feel to it, it is not jam packed with tourists, yet there is plenty to do and people to see!

Miss Lori has a great program emphasizing the importance of healthy eating, exercise, and proper rest. It has been wonderful to actually follow that program throughout our weekend here at Ocean Isle Beach. The ocean is so beautiful, the sand and palm trees also. Last night provided an absolutely spectacular sunset.

This morning we had awesome games lead on the beach by Tracy of Ocean Isle Inn! We all loved these!



My boys have on their Lands' End Boys Swim Gear in this picture on the beach. See the two boys on the right side - one in the green rash guard and shorts and the other in the blue rash guard and shorts! That's the Tigers in Lands' End! It is awesome the "Rash Guards!" saved us from the 90 degree heat! More LE pictures to come.

Here is One Moms World and me with Trace of OII and the cool cake he had made for the pool party and "awards night!" tonight. It was really great fun!



Do you know Miss Lori from PBS Kids?! We do and she did an awesome Concert for all! Love the healthy and active lifestyle she is helping promote! We're all about wellness and healthy living!
