Wrightsville Beach, NC Holiday Inn Resort
This was a the trip where my wonderful Boulder Mountain Man stayed home to work
for us. And my Auntie Jackie joined us and we had some good Auntie time!

We were surfers so little time was spent in the awesome beach service chairs by
the Holiday Inn Resort Beachfront. It looked good! :)

We LOVED our Sunset Cruise!

Beautiful and sweet Auntie Jackie and me.

 Captain, Oh my Captain....
Then, it was at the best of Surf School!  All of us!

And we ALL Caught Waves off the Atlantic! Epic!

Then, it was a celebration dinner at Blu Water Grill on the water! :)

My son's favorite, the Shrimp Plate. This was a kids meal! Perfect!

Thank you again, Parents Magazine! We totally agree and love our
Wrightsville Beaches, North Carolina with it's Holiday Inn Resort Oceanfront.

South Beach Grill Fabulous Seafood - Best of Wrightsville Beach, NC

Our family loved our recent visit to the North Carolina Coast.  We love how close Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington, North Carolina are from the Raleigh/Durham area.

South Beach Grill in Wrightsville Beach is outstanding.  We love that it is waterside and al fresco all at once! And the freshest of seafood! You can sit indoors for a quaint and cozy dinner.

This was our first visit to the South Beach Grill and we will be back.  First of all, we reserved a table with "call ahead seating."  We requested outdoor seating and we loved it. WE LOVED this outdoor patio.

We had a lovely view of the Inter-coastal Waterway.

It was a lovely Summer night. We had such a lovely night. Dinner al fresco is our style.
It was a perfect Dinner after our Surf Camp lessons.  Of course, we were starving!

It was fun to relax and look at the water as the sun set.

Auntie and I both LOVED the Grilled Grouper with fabulous Julienne Vegetables and
Garlic Mashed Potatoes.  This meal was perfectly seasoned and cooked!

The quality and freshness of the seafood is only found on the Coast.

The Tigers really like the Kids Menu of Fried Shrimp and Awesome French Fries.
A kids dream.

The portions were generous on the children's menu and the adults.

Caesar Salad was perfect before the seafood...

Auntie J took this picture for Daddy who was working hard back home.
See how happy we were after an amazing fresh Seafood dinner!

We look forward to visiting again!

Wrightsville Beach Surf Camp Fun!  Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina has been named one of the Top 20 World's Best Surf Towns.  We totally agree!

Surf Camp Wrightsville Beach with Will and Nick Instructors

We were totally elated to attend Surf Camp Private Lessons with the Wrightsville Beach Surf School / Camps!  This was a fabulous experience for our family all around.

The only thing Daddy stayed back in Raleigh to work hard for us at the office and we totally missed him and will have to go back...

... after all he taught the boys to Boogie Board so well!

The Camp was awesome with individual instruction and attention to every detail.

WB Surf Camp offers high quality Quiksilver and Roxy sponsored learn to surf
kid summer camps, teen summer camps, and adult vacation surf camps
that are unlike anything in this world.

We LOVED the safety lessons on shore before we even got into the Ocean. This was empowering to learn and not fear things like a rip tide. We learned how to float out of it and be safe.

They taught us basic surf board skills on land and then we were ready for the Ocean.

We LOVED that they worked with our twin sons ages 11 right on up to our Auntie who was phenomenal in her age group.  The Instructors worked so well together.  And with us. We felt safe and in good hands.  They were so positive. I remember riding the waves and looking back at the Will who always had a thumbs up and smile going my way.  I felt I could conquer the waves!

Wrightsville Surf Camp says this:

For over a decade we have been facilitating, safe and exciting learn to surf summer camps. For a week, you will be immersed in the "Sport of Kings" while learning about incredible coastal ecosystems. All summer camps and surf camps including our:
have a safe student to instructor ratio of 3:1, and are staffed with certified professional instructors educated in the marine sciences.

There are many Camps and Private Lessons to sign up for so go....

The Ocean is Waiting for You!

Our sons fell in love with surfing all the more when they the movie, "Soul Surfer" and they already love the Ocean and "Dolphin Tale." This surfing experience was truly a dream come true for our boys. We will do this again in a heart beat.

Thank you Wrightsville Surf Camp and Will and Nick for the awesome experience.  Hang Ten!
