Giveaway and Review: Firebirds Wood Fired Grill Restaurant Open in Morrisville, NC

Firebirds Grill opened its newest restaurant in Morrisville, North Carolina. It is located in the Research Triangle Park area of Raleigh-Durham.  We had the opportunity to visit and want to share our Review here.  Firebirds has offered an awesome Giveaway.  One Winner will receive a $50 Gift Certificate to Firebirds so you can visit soon.  Read through for details.

We are longtime fans of Firebirds.   So we were so eager to check out the newest locale in North Carolina.  It was a perfect evening.  Many enjoyed the outdoors.  Typically, we love being outside any chance we can get.

Tonight, we wanted to see the new restaurant and feel the ambiance.  The stone and mountain
decor give a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

We loved our booth.  Fall is in the air.

Before ordering, we checked out the Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.  The boys loved seeing the
grilling going on.  Firebirds is known for their amazing Steaks.  Sirlon, Filet Mignon, New
York Strip and more.  We had a hard time deciding on what to order.

Then we just relaxed like we owned the place. :)  Our boys love to draw or sketch so
they brought along their fun.  I couldn't resist.

Salads are a favorite of mine so I was planning to order the Grilled Shrimp
and Strawberry Salad.  Look how delicious....

Then the Aged Ribeye caught my eye with this potato with all the fixings....  Firebirds is known
for their varieties of Steaks.

We LOVE the Firebirds Desserts so I was figuring on how to order with room
for dessert.  The Key Lime Pie is my favorite.  Our whole family
can eat the Big Daddy Chocolate Cake and still not finish it.  We love the
rich chocolates of the cake.

Between Appetizer and Entree:  See the fun atmosphere of the Park West Shopping Center.
My sweet husband and I loved getting a little moment together before dinner.  We
just celebrated 15 wonderful years together so I love this picture extra special.

Our boys LOVED ordering the specialty Burgers with Steak Fries.

My husband and I couldn't resist the Wood Grilled Salmon with Garlic
Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Vegetables.  This meal was perfection.
We loved the healthy and hearty entree.  This is a Gluten Free option.  They
have a separate menu of great Gluten Free choices.

The portions were very generous.  Everything was seasoned so wonderfully.
Nothing overly strong.

This sums up our boys' thoughts on the Burgers.  Bliss!

Someone loved the Onion Rings and is being his love of Ranch Dressing. :)

Thank you Firebirds for hosting our family.  We love your food, customer service and
the warm and friendly atmosphere!  We will see you soon!

My family loves Firebirds. We always get the wings as an appetizer and I order the Ribeye with a Baked Potato. The Creme Brulee Cheesecake is hands down the best dessert I have ever had. My email is deelaneford@hotmail.com

Firebirds is my favorite restaurant! We live in Collierville, TN and I am in there all the time. For lunch my favorite is the Mixed Green's salad with Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette. Some times I add chicken or tenderloin to it. YUM! I could drink that stuff!
On the weekends with friends I always get the 7oz Filet with the green beans and/or loaded potato. Dessert is ALWAYS Key Lime Pie! I am headed there this weekend for my B-Day! Cannot wait.

Hello everyone!
I took a look at the Firebird's menu and all their items sound/look great!
I probably would go with the Baby Back Rib dinner plate, with one of their Mixed green salads. If i had room after all of that i would get the Big Daddy Chocolate Cake. Looks like your family enjoyed.

I live in Pennsylvania, and often go to the Firebirds on route 202, near the delaware border. I love the restaurant's ambiance, especially in the winter when they have the fireplaces going. Firebirds never fails to disappoint, I have girls nights there with my friends all the time.

I have not had the pleasure of going to Firebirds yet. I liked you on facebook and twitter as schsmomof5. I also liked firebirds facebook page. I looked over their menu and it looks like the perfect date night spot. I would start with the ranch onion rings and then order the filet mignon (I don't cook steak at home). For dessert it would have to be the Creme Brulée Cheesecake. Mmmmmmm. Thank you for offering the contest!
