The suits became widely popular because they retained their fashionably good looks even despite multiple washings that are necessary during the summer.

This tradition began with Mississippi US Senator Trent Lott

Seersucker keeps it cool, lightweight and stylish for the Southern Gentleman! And the ladies. I love my Seersucker dress. What are your traditions? And how do you beat the heat with style in the Summer?

Well one thing is for sure, in the Florida heat and humidity, I do not wear jeans!
It's shorts or skirts or cool dresses for me...although lately it's been running shorts and running tanks!

I love some seersucker, but I couldn't pay my son $$$ to put some on. Such a shame. I love that look.
