Weight Watchers Girl and Two Winners

Bon Jour Blogettes! :) Okay, please let me know if you are aware of the French version of MommyBloggers. :) I am just thinking with all that French I learned growing up in New Orleans, it would have been great if I had learned to eat minuscule meals like the vogue French women. :)

Breaking News: We have a Winner of the Win It Wednesday Giveaway @ OnlinePosterPrinting! This is exciting and the Twins chose our numbers. Would it surprise you if I said one Twin said "8" (they're eight so bingo!) and the other Twin shouts out "9!" :) So there you go from my personal random generator.

Congratulations to :

Kristine @ Mommy, Daddy and the Sweet Peas and
Lisa Shaw @ Sharing Life With Lisa.

Tres bien! I'd love to say things are Tres Bien on the mini-meals front. You know, like Hi it's me in the photo instead of the attractive mini French Ralph Lauren girl.

Nonetheless, the exciting news is I am a Weight Watcher Girl now! :) I said it right here. I'm in and loving it. Last week, I committed to WW. And my body is already saying Thank You!

Believe me, this looks like a reasonable system. That and the fact that ninety percent of the free world have made this program work for them. So I tell you, my leader is great, my tracker is filled out and I am jazzed about getting back to me. :)

So if anyone else out there wants to tell me the best recipes or snacks with the lowest points possible, that would be lovely.

Don't worry, we're not turning into a weight-loss blog here @ Carolina Mama. It's just that I want to get serious about my "Back to Me" posts and lifestyle because that's all it is really a lifestyle of Healthy living and eating and exercising. And this "Weight Watchers Girl" is my "Works For Me Wednesday" tip, go enter yours.

Any thoughts? Are you a Weight Watchers GIrl? Please Share.

***This Friday I've entered this into the Hooked on Fridays because yes, I am hooked on being a Weight Watchers Blog Girl. That's right. What are you hooked on?

Warmly,

  3. I followed WW about 5 years ago and found it to be a very successful program. I lost the weight I wanted to and was able to keep it off. I haven't followed it the last couple of years because I began training for a marathon and just needed to be eating more calories. I have been on and off again with the program since, but have recently started following more of the South Beach Diet. It is working so far and I think that is the most important thing you can do when it comes to weight loss... find what motivates and works for you. Much success to you and keep us posted on your progress.

    I'm bummed I didn't win:(

  4. Thanks so much! I appreciate winning.

Way to go on Weight Watchers. As you know from my Living a Fit Life blog I'm a WWonline girl, a walking nut and a some times curves girl (smile).

I'm excited for you and any way that I can support you, please let me know.

    Bless you.

  5. Yaaaaay!! I am so excited! I am so glad I won this! Thank you!
You know, I am a WW girl, too. I lost 20lbs with it last year after I had my son. After the 20lbs, for some odd reason, I quit. Well, I picked it back up about a week and a half ago and am already down 6.5lbs.
I have some WW stuff on my other blog - my Little Steps to a New Me blog. Also, I don't know if you know this, but you don't have to be a pying member of WWonline to use their message boards! I use them all the time for recipes. And then if you're not a paying memeber of the online service, you can go over to sparkpeople.com and use their recipe builder to get the nutrition info to figure out your points. I use that all the time as well!

  6. Way to go! My oldest and I are trying to lose a few pounds. We have been exercising everyday using the stuff I learned in Boot Camp at the YMCA last year. And eat fruit for snacks. Everyone is carrying around their Sigg bottles and whining about drinking water all the time, lol. The 9 year old keeps going.... but I am skinny, I want some COKE!

  7. I am not a WW girl, but have known some in my time. I personally think that we need a little more meat on our bones that some like to think!

    Much encouragement headed your way

  10. Hey Carolina Mama! I was excited to read you are a WW girl now! I just joined a few weeks ago after my doctor gave me the go-ahead to start a post-baby routine. Not so excited about the exercise, but the baby weight is coming off slowly with WW. It is so good at forcing you to just make healthy choices about what you eat, which, like you said, makes your body feel so much better! Can't wait to hear how it works for you! :)

  11. This is my first visit here and I'm excited to hear you are a new WW member. I am a lifetime WW member and I tell people, "if you do it, it works." I haven't always "done it" though. I am back on track recently and also feel really good. Way to go. Keep it up and you will be successful. It's a journey.

  13. Hey girl! Congratulations on becoming a WW girl. I've seen it work for so many of my friends - and now you'll be one of those too. I've never done it "officially" - always thought about it, but never felt led yet. I'll be praying for you about that. :-) You better post pictures of your progress. :-)
