Are you ready for Inauguration Day? Getting super excited for this historic day. Yesterday, I wrote a post about the change of President and how I want to involve my children. That really just got me more interested in all of the kids activities available.

Here's What To Do To Include Your Children:

1) And just so you know, you heard it here, President Elect Barack Obama is having a Kids Concert the night before the Inauguration! Friends of all of yours, the Jonas Brothers Headline Kids the Concert.

2) Build The Abraham Lincoln Log Cabin commemorating our forefathers hard work and living in log cabins.

3) Make the Obama Symbol paper plate. Big pop of color and makes a great statement on this day. And it looks more than easy. So go ahead, get creative.

4) Please join us for this act of love for the Obamas and our Country.

***Win It Wednesday Winner will be drawn at 9pm EST. Go ahead and enter right here, right now.

Teaching my children history, learning and enjoying it myself, this Works For Me Wednesday.

  9. I love the log cabin! That is too cute and looks like something I can actually make. You should have seen our gingerbread house this year -- and it was a kit! LOL

  10. The paper plate idea is so cute! My son is 3 and I've been trying to think of ways to get him excited about the big change that's coming for our country. This looks like an easy craft for him to do.
