Sweet Polar Bear has the life. He was all but snoring right there poolside. He was big and beautiful. The Zoo Keeper let us know she has physical needs that the Zoo is treating daily and caring for - that was so reassuring.
Here is my little Tiger A mesmerized by the activity of the Sea Lions and overtly wishing for a life where you can play under water twenty minutes at a time and be so carefree. :)
The Sea Lions were fascinating. We spent a lot of time watching them from down under and then up above while they were fed. The Tigers got ask so many questions of the Zoo Keepers.
My Tigers roarrrrr at the Zoo. :) Cutest Tigers on the planet! :)
Yesterday was an awesome day - we had a school field trip to the Zoo and Mountain Man arranged his work to join the fun! It was a flawless Carolina day. We enjoyed the foliage as much as the animals, almost. The animals were amazing, happy and healthy. We loved our time there.
The Zoo here is huge and has a lot of property, mountainous and fields and valleys. It was great. We rode the tram some but mostly walked and walked or more accurately, ran and ran after our own Tigers!
We were the first ones to arrive at the Zoo and we stayed until close. That's full day. We saw so many things and Carolina Mama was in full swing with photography. Here's a glimpse of the day. Do you have a great Zoo? Is it near? Do you love it?!
Also, a hearty Happy Veteran's Day to all! We always call Grandfather Mountain Man, that would be Mt. Man's daddy ;) and thank him for the time he served our country. Remember to thank someone today, this Veteran's Day.
Warmly,
We live about a half-an-hour from the National Zoo, which we love. Our favorite exhibit? The pandas, of course. (Shocking, I know.)
ReplyDeleteLooks like such a fun time! We love our zoo... it's such a great thing to enjoy as a family. And, looks like you had the perfect weather for it!
ReplyDeleteThe Nashville zoo isn't that great of one. I grew up going to the Columbus Zoo so I have been spoiled!
ReplyDeleteAmen for Veterans' Day! And it looks like your trip to the zoo was a blast! :)
